Bev Twillmann's talented and accomplished career as a
Storyteller/Story-Educator led to the formation of Interpretive Voices
in 1997.

continually at work providing training for Interpretive Staff at National and State Parks, zoos, museums,
historic locales and numerous other interpretive venues.
The success of this training program has drawn attention from several
publications in the interpretive and educational field, and Bev has written
several articles for national publications seen by thousands. Her book,
The Bonding of Generations, published in 1993, has been instrumental in
utilizing story technique as a bridge between generations and cultures,
Interpretive Voices' incisive concepts and
methods are the cumulative result of . Using the power of story technique,
program participants are provided with compelling tools to successfully
advance the visitor's experience.
Her firsthand experience observing the power of story technique in
interpretation with The National Park Service employees inspired her to form
Interpretive Voices, a dynamic training project designed to
empower interpretive personnel from all areas (museums, National & State
Parks, zoos, etc.) in attaining their goals. The techniques used in this
training help ignite the listener to retrieve the past and imagine the
future.
